On Sunday, I made my way to the mountains again. This time around I was on the hunt for snow. Mike, Becky, their German Shepard Charlie, and I spent the afternoon in the mountains near North Bend, WA. We found the most beautiful location to play in the snow and take some pictures. It was crazy cold and wet but we had so much fun.
Becky is one of the very first people I met when I moved to Washington. In fact, it was in December of 2006 when we first met, which makes it exactly 10 years ago! She has been a huge part of my life for the last ten years. We’ve watched each other get married, we’ve spent holidays together, we’ve road tripped, we’ve stood in Black Friday lines, we’ve played sports together, we’ve worked in youth ministries together, we’ve eaten, a lot, together….I can seriously go on and on. Way too much to share in one post.
Fast forward to 2016, I’m heading up a random road to take some Christmas photos of her new family. I’m so glad I’ve gotten to be apart of her life for the last ten years but I’m even more excited for what’s to come for her, Mike, and Charlie. And even if life takes us in different directions, I know that I’ll always have a friend to turn to in Becky! A friend who has seen all the parts of me, the good and the bad, and still loves me.
