I first met Bryan & Kristi a few years ago at our church. We were in the same small group and I remember thinking, “these guys need to be our friends!” They were fun, down to earth, genuine people and I wanted to be in their lives. Our friendship has been a joy to me throughout the last few years. We’ve shared lots of laughs, dinners, game nights, craft nights, and so much more. Because we both lead very busy lives, we don’t get to hang out as much as we’d like to but when we do we always have a great time! It doesn’t matter how long it’s been since we’ve hung out, as soon as we get together, it’s like we picked up where we last left off. I love that! They will be lifelong friends and I’m thankful for that.
They are quite special to me because they were the very first people that took a chance on me and my photography. They gave me a chance to take their photos back in 2014. I’ll never forget that experience, I had NO CLUE what I was doing! But they believed in me, even when I was panicking and didn’t believe in myself. That’s been true of them throughout our entire friendship, they just believed that I could do it! Not just take pictures, but in everything. I always feel more confident in my abilities because of their words and I know they aren’t filling me with fluff either, because that’s not who they are. They don’t say things just to make people feel better, they speak truth, even if it’s hard to hear.
They have been some of my biggest supporters in my pursuit into the photography world. I’ve taken their photos annually since that dreaded day in 2014 but today I am thrilled to share these photos. They killed it! I killed it! And together we created some amazing images.
